Humanity’s true moral test

“Humanity’s true moral test, its fundamental test (which lies deeply buried from view), consists of its attitude towards those who are at its mercy: animals.”
Milan Kundera The Unbearable Lightness of Being, 1984

"The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated " Mahatma Gandhi

Tell Dodge to End Its Ringling Promotions

Notorious animal abuser Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus continues to court corporate sponsorships for its cruel circus. Please remind Dodge (which is owned by Chrysler) that Ringling has earned universal condemnation from animal protection organizations, elephant experts, and animal advocates. An increasingly enlightened public is rejecting the notion that a fleeting moment of fun is worth the agony that these magnificent animals are forced to endure daily. Let Dodge know that compassionate consumers are outraged when any company promotes Ringling.

Urge the San Francisco Zoo to Permanently Close Its Tiger Exhibit

Just as the San Francisco Zoo was closing on December 25, a 350-pound Siberian tiger named Tatiana escaped and mauled three zoogoers. One person was killed, and police shot and killed the tiger. Tatiana is the same tiger who attacked a zookeeper and chewed on the keeper's arm during a public-feeding demonstration a year ago.

Urge AAA to Stop Corporate Promotions of Ringling's Cruelty to Animals

Travel agency AAA is teaming up with infamous animal abuser Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus by offering discounted tickets to Ringling events.

Please take a minute to tell AAA that compassionate consumers are outraged when any company promotes Ringling. Also let the travel agency know that Ringling has earned universal condemnation by animal protection organizations, elephant experts, and animal advocates.
